Winemaking

Don Simon Sangria is all natural. Made from 100% fruit. The major component in our sangria is wine made from Spain’s noble grape, Tempranillo. Blended with sugar, citrus and natural fruit extracts to provide a sweet, fruity balance.

Pairing

Drink it as an aperitif or with a meal. Simple summer fare – from salads to grilled meat and fish- are excellent ways to enjoy Don Simon Sangria. Our only suggestion is that you serve it cold.

Winemaking

The alcoholic fermentation takes place with oxygenated maceration below 25°C in order to preserve the aromatic potential. Once it is fermented, two thirds of the sugar is devatted, cooling the wine must to 20ºC, the temperature at which the alcoholic fermentation completes and malolactic fermentation occurs.
After light clarification and subsequent decanting it is stabilized at negative temperatures and bottled
